THE KENNEL CLUB  SHOW CERTIFICATE of MERIT  (ShCM)

During 2003 the Kennel Club initiated the above scheme to encourage owners to exhibit their dogs

at Open Shows, the ShCM is awarded on a points system to those dogs who win:

BOB, Group 1 - 4, RBIS, or BIS at General or

Group Multi Breed Open Shows

The very first Italian Greyhound to be awarded the ShCM by the K.C. was

HANJY HERMIONE OF MIELETH (ShCM)  - July 2004

Owned by Ruth & Derek Garside, and bred by Jane Derbyshire-Heal.

Since then,the following I.G.'s have also been awarded the ShCM. (Ch & JW are not shown).
